Ascent is the diagnostic that turns the question of where AI belongs in your work into a number and a plan. It produces your Agentic Growth Score and shows you, in dirhams, exactly where AI agents should take the work that is draining you. Its defining feature is the one most readiness tools are built to avoid: it will tell you that a task you love is not your leverage.

01THE INVERSION

Most readiness scans flatter the person taking them. They ask a few questions and return a reassuring figure designed to move you toward a sale. Ascent is built the opposite way. It takes one person and one workflow and interrogates the evidence against the goal you actually stated. Your Zone of Genius, the narrow band of work you are both genuinely good at and energised by, is not, in Ascent, a destination you get to claim. It is a conclusion the evidence either supports or refuses.

02THE OUTPUT

The output has two parts. An Agentic Growth Score on a scale of zero to 100, mapped to the five levels of agentic maturity from curiosity to autonomy (see The Agentic Maturity Model), and a brief that shows where agents should take your drain, quantified in money rather than vague promise. The honesty is the product. A tool that only confirms what you hoped is entertainment. A tool willing to tell you that the task you enjoy most is not where your leverage lives is a diagnostic, and only the second kind is worth your time.

03THREE LENSES

Ascent reads through one of three lenses depending on what you are trying to do, to empower your people, to drive efficiency, or to build something new. The same underlying engine, framed to the intent you bring to it.

A diagnostic that only agrees with you is a mirror. Ascent is built to tell you what you would rather not hear, because that is where the leverage is hiding.

A deeper dive

It is worth being precise about what separates Ascent from the configurators it will be compared to. A typical readiness tool multiplies a few dropdown selections into a confident savings figure, which means it can only ever reflect what you told it, dressed up as analysis. Ascent does three things differently. It interrogates evidence against a goal you stated, rather than scoring self-report. It is willing to return an unwelcome answer, which a tool built to sell never is. And it expresses the opportunity in real money, so the result is a decision you can act on rather than a feeling. The scoring methodology, the calibration behind the score, and the benchmark logic are proprietary and are deliberately not exposed here, which is itself part of the philosophy. What is public, and what matters to you as a reader, is the principle underneath it: the Zone of Genius is evidence interrogated against a goal, not a flattering label, and a diagnostic earns trust precisely by being willing to disagree with the person holding it.
